Django Ajax and Dajaxice

Dajaxice looks like a great addition to Django. It promises to make Ajax easy by handling all the low level JavaScript, Ajax, etc… This is my second time giving this app a try. And my second time wishing I hadn’t. Instead I just went back to using jquery and the functionality that is built into Django.

As of Oct 2013, the project had not been updated in over a year. The documentation is rather sparse. On the flip side, Ajax with jquery and Django is pretty easy.  Following the examples in the Django class based forms docs, especially the Ajax Mixin, made getting may Ajax functionality a snap.
